We are going through tough times at the moment, as individuals, as families, as citizens in our country we live in, and as inhabitors of this world. The fact that you might not be able to be there for a family member who needs the support and love, this is so tough… not being able to meet your family and friends as usual, hangout and have a laugh.
But even in this hardship we need to also view things positively to be able to endure. One quote that comes to my mind is from one of my personal favourites, Sir Winston Churchill – “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” This is important – there is love, prosperity and a bright future ahead – we have to continue striving for that. I think this pandemic serves as a teacher for our civilizations, to take care of one another and our world. I sometimes think our planet is telling us to live the human life in more consideration. Our world and we, as a race, are both delicate. Take care of our trees, our soil, the sky, the animals and seas – they are not forever if we go on like this.
I don’t believe we should “stop” doing things but we need to care more about how we are doing things. Choose the path that is more friendly and true. Choose the path that is more environmentally friendly and elegant.
